Ori Oke Iyanu (Mountain of Miracles) Ilara-Epe is an inter- denominational Prayer Village, it’s a spiritual retreat centre where people from all over the world troop to for prayer and spiritual rejuvenation.
The Mountain of Miracles Epe, is a historical sacred place where the biblical Queen of Sheba who was the monarch mentioned in the Bible passed through with her entourage who later traveled to Jerusalem to experience the wisdom of King Solomom.
In the Biblical tale, queen Sheba was the same Monarch that lavished king Solomon with expensive gifts and praised king Solomon’s wisdom and kingdom before returning to her country.
Mountain of miracles sits on a vast expanse of land with a hilltop and it is easily defined by its beautiful topography, serene, calm, clean and natural atmosphere.
The miracle prayer mountain is basically an isolated holy centre where Christians and non-Christians visit to have quiet time to pray, study the word of God or relax. Jesus said: “Come away by yourself and rest for a while”. (Mk 6:3 RSV)
The Mountain of Miracles prayer camp is situated on 10 acres of land. It offers a place of tranquility, where you can forget all the sadness, frustrations and worries of life and concentrate on seeking the face of God, hearing His voice as Samuel did and experience a closer walk with Him. The mountain offers day retreats for individuals or groups with the option of holding night vigils.
Paid accommodation is available for those requiring overnight stay for as long as they wish. The Mountain of Miracles Epe, attracts a whole lot of people who are seeking spiritual rejuvenation. It is also a tourist destination.
This miracle prayer mountain has a prayer chapel where you can have your prayer. Please note that the camp does not permit couples, married or unmarried, to share sleeping rooms.
Although there is ample space for individuals to benefit from the tranquility, congregational fellowship through worship and prayers amongst others within the camp. The Camp is a ‘Praying Mountain’ and therefore must not be defiled in any way.
